A table just for kids. Your wedding reception will be full of tables, gorgeous tables with lovely tablecloths and stunning centerpieces. However, will that entertain children? Probably not! Develop a table just for kids, where they can go and sit and be thoroughly entertained. For your kid’s table, you can find or create some wedding color books accompanied by crayons. Also, consider glow sticks, as they are a fun way to encourage the children to light up the dance floor. You can even create the tablecloth to be paper instead of cloth, so that the children can draw right among the table with crayons, markers or colored pencils.
Games. Every kid loves games, so incorporating some into your big day will certainly present wonderful entertainment (even for the adults too)! “I Spy” is an easy game to create that will keep the kids busy. You can have them try and spy items around your wedding, such as the cake or a certain flower. Or, you can even have them find natural happenings, such as someone laughing or holding hands. Equipped with fun props and backdrops, your little ones can create goofy images to take home and share with friends and family. The props you can include are funny glasses, hats, boas, and even little props on sticks, such as big red lips or mustaches.
